Kolkata, 20 July,2009:
A 35-year-old woman was arrested in a Birati house on Sunday for allegedly being involved in a trafficking racket. Jharna Kar was behind the disappearance of Soma Das, a student of Class IX in a Birati school, on June 14, said police. Soma was traced to a hotel in Haldia on Saturday night after her family got a tip-off from some youths close to Jharna. Local residents handed her over to the police.

In India police seldom doubt on women for crime and that is booster for some women to jump on such a heinous crimes.
