Need for alimony (or greed for money) is preferred than a man’s health.
Some days ago Indian court ordered...”you can’t avoid to give your wife maintenance though you are jobless”.
Now a man from Punjab decided to sell his kidney for maintenance. Narrating his ordeal in the application, he said the court had ordered him to pay his wife a monthly interim allowance of Rs 3,500 under CrPC and another interim maintenance of Rs 4,500 per month under the Domestic Violence Act.
Denying any permanent means of livelihood, he said he found it difficult to sustain himself as his small monthly earnings made up for only Rs 3,600.
Despite his meagre income, the man tried to pay maintenance to his wife regularly. But, under the circumstances, he is left with no option but to sell his body organs.

The question is watever the court has order to give interim to the wife is another issue bt the main factor is if his wife knows tht her husband’s condition is so miserable and then also without thinking of his health he is putting his life into danger,then why she is not taking any step,i dont think tht money is important than somebody’s life..........she should feel tht if she is understandable

Why do women demand alimony from men when they are educated and earning? What is this equality about then? you cannot take the advantages of tradition and modernity and call it ”Equality”. The truth is that the law is BAD, HORRENDOUSLY BAD! Feminist laws of India are as bad as the Taliban! Feminism is the Talibanism of the 21st century. If the laws didn’t exist that way, the wife would not have file the application in the first place. Demolish the laws! Demolish the fu**i*g feminist laws!

He should straight up say that he'll pay some amount out of what he earn. Selling organs is not a permanent solution. There has to be some permanent solution...selling organs etc, etc is foolish and emotional decision. And in life, you got be practical buddy.

Why should he pay alimony and maintenance? Are you crazy? This is the 21st century - the era of gender equality. Your ideas of alimony to women hold no place in a modern era like today. You want women to take the advantages of tradition and modernity. THIS IS HYPOCRISY. LADY, PAY UP; PAY THE PRICE OF GENDER EQUALITY. I would actually say that if the lady is also earning, she should pay alimony to the husband. Indian courts are in the stone age era and so are the judgements - fit for the cave man’s era.

Women is considered as the property of men, when a man take dowry from women for her maintenance,he is totally responsible for her life long needs......if we go to statistics we will find that large number of women are not educated & not working*******We should not forget the other side of the coin***even we talk of women empowerment & equality...but we mostly know that condition of women world wide is pathetic.

How to come out from the Finciancial Losses due to 498A/DV/CRPC 125?
A must to do activity : Whenever your so called wife demand and claim that she do not have any place to stay and give interim maintiance or residence etc, immediately , ask the concern auntority to Put her in “Goverment Shelter Home” , get the Booklet form the WCD ministry .
One simple appeal : “The court may put her in any of the recognised shelter house maintained by govt.( the list of shelter homes are endless) as a interim relife and husband are ready to provide all the expenses of the Shelter Home till the time the fianl decision of the Case not decided.”
