5 year old boy sacrificed to 'satisfy' Goddess Mahakali

We have to wait another 2 weeks to celebrate Kalipuja, but a boy was killed in human sacrifice ritual at the Mahakali Mandir (temple) in Chandrapur. This is profound example how we take life of others in the name of superstition.

It is believed in some villages in India to sacrifice human specially young boys will bring happiness in the society or protect from flood or drought. But inaction of police in this very case is more shocking...we can blame villagers for their lack of education but why police was remain silent and even refused to register complain by his other and neighbours.

Dhannu kumar(5), son of Santoshkumar Nirmalkar, a Chhattisgarhi labourer who lives in the Danav Wadi slums, went missing immediately after Ravan dahan on Dusshera evening near Mahakali temple.

“Last we heard of our son was when he was searching for firecrackers from the remains of burnt Ravan effigy with other children on Monday evening. However, as he did not return by 8 pm, we started searching for him but got no word by 9.30 pm,” said Punnibai, mother of the boy. She and her husband later approached Mahakali police outpost for help, but were allegedly turned away.

The parents of the boy must have been going through a terrible tie. Hope that the culprits gets the punishment they deserve.

This will continue till every labourer in India holds a university degree. Unlike other countries, India has its tail stuck in the dark ages with its head shoved in the 21st Century.

If this happened to my kid and I found out it was those people in the temple, I’d get an assault rifle and wait for their next meeting. I wouldn’t let a single one of them get out alive.
